On March 13th and 14th we had an overnight camp at Center One. The idea was to give the kids (and the parents, hahah!) a chance to get used to being on their own. I wanted them to bond as a group so they would help each other out while we were traveling together.
First the kids went swimming in the pool for a bit, and then we tried cooking up some America food. We had Johnsonville brats from Sheboygan, Wisconsin and string cheese from Plymouth, Wisconsin, so that gave them a taste of the kinds of foods they'd find in America. We also had tacos, which aren't really a Wisconsin food, but people in Wisconsin LOVE tacos, so they might as well be, hahah! Jump did an excellent job cooking the brats on the grill, and everyone enjoyed the food.
After that, the kids watched some videos and bounced off the walls all night (until I finally told them to knock it off and get to bed ;-). Whew! Traveling with these kids is going to be like herding wild monkeys around! Hahah!

Then on Sunday we decided to go over to IT Square for some rollerblading. It was a good opportunity to practice traveling together as a group while they were still safely in Bangkok. Once we got to the roller rink, May and Jan sat it out because Jan was feeling a little sick and rollerblading looked like too much work for May, haha! The other kids enjoyed trying to skate without falling down, while I buzzed around them showing off my super-cool skating skills ;-). It reminded me a lot of my childhood when I would go to the roller rink at the Shawano County Park.
Fun!
