Whew!

Busy day again!

Internet access is a bit spotty here, so I didn't have a chance to post a blog yesterday. We got down to Valders in the afternoon and settled into the parsonage house. It's VERY nice and the people from the church have been wonderful. The kids are having a great time.

We ate pizza last night and this morning I cooked the kids some pancakes. For lunch we ate chili that my mom made for them. Tonight we're going to "Mr. Lucky's" a restaurant in Valders that serves a prime rib buffet, so the kids should be very full after that.

This morning I was feeling very sick. I had a headache and felt nauseous. Ugh. So after I finished making pancakes, I laid down for a bit while the kids got ready for church. Then on the way to church I stopped at the market to get some medicine. I'm feeling better but I hope I don't get sick!

We went to Faith Lutheran church to meet the people who've graciously let us use their house. We also ran into two of the host families so James, Gird and Sky got to meet the Nelsons and Brills. They seem like very nice people and I think the kids will have a lot of fun visiting their homes.

Sorry no time for a long post or photos. I'll get those up later. We don't have internet in the parsonage house so we have to come over to my parents' house to blog. The kids have been using my notebook to do their blogs so I haven't been able to get on it all day :-P.

Tomorrow we're going down to Kiel to visit Hennings Cheese and then a dairy farm, so that should be a very interesting field trip. We're heading over to Lucky's now, so I've got to run!
